Shapot Art Gallery is now accepting submissions for "Small Town Feel", a new group exhibit that showcases small towns in miniature formats. Artists are invited to submit their interpretations of what, "small town" means to them. Ideas may include (but are not limited to) a nostalgic scene, a modern perspective, or a hidden gem. This distinctive exhibition will feature works that capture the essence of Ocala, Marion County, and small towns everywhere. All submitted artwork must adhere to a maximum size of 9"x9"x9". Pieces exceeding these dimensions will not be considered.
Purchase Help:
For submissions to be considered, each artist must first pay a non-refundable submission fee ($5 per artwork). This fee helps to cover gallery expenses and to help us continue to host both exciting and unique exhibits.

Submission Guidelines:
Artwork must relate to the theme "Small Town Feel."
Each piece (including the frame or mount) must not exceed9" x 9" x 9" in size.
All mediums will be considered, including painting, sculpture, textile art, photography, digital media, and video.
Commission rate is 70% Artist / 30% Gallery
For 2D and 3D artwork (paintings, sculptures, textiles, etc.):
Submit 2-3 high-quality photographs of each piece, showing different angles if applicable.
For video submissions:
Provide a direct link to a hosted video on YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, etc.
For other digital formats (animations, interactive media, etc.):
Submit an access link or file upload in the appropriate format.
Shipping Requirements:
Mailed artwork must be easily repackaged in case it does not sell during the exhibition.
Artists are responsible for shipping costs.
Applications must be submitted by Saturday, May 17, 2025 11:59 PM EST.
All submitting artists will be notified of acceptance by Tuesday, May 20, 2025
Accepted artists will need to deliver their artwork to Shapot Art Gallery by Tuesday, May 27th 9 PM
